Privacy Policy

Short version: this website has no database, no login, no cookies and no advertising. We only hold what you send us, and we use it to reply to you.

1. Who this is about

Codezy Tech (“we”, “us”) is a small technology service based in Malaysia. This policy explains what we do with personal information from visitors to this site and from clients we work with. It follows Malaysia's Personal Data Protection Act 2010.

2. What we collect

• From the contact form: your name, your email address, and whatever you write in the message.
• If you message us on WhatsApp, we see your phone number, your WhatsApp profile name and your messages.
• Our website host keeps standard visit logs, which include IP addresses. We don't use them for anything beyond keeping the site up.
• Our host also counts page views and measures how fast pages load, so we know which pages people read and whether the site is quick enough. These counts are anonymous and aggregated: no cookies, no fingerprinting and nothing that identifies you or follows you to other websites.

That's all. We don't run advertising or tracking pixels, and we build no profile of you. We set no cookies at all. Our fonts are served from this site, not from another company, so simply reading a page doesn't report you to anyone outside our host.

3. Why we hold it

To answer your enquiry, to do work you've asked for, and to keep records of what we agreed. Nothing else. We don't sell your information, and we don't send marketing to people who didn't ask for it.

4. Please don't send us secrets

The contact form and WhatsApp are ordinary messaging. Don't send passwords, card numbers, identity documents or other people's private details through them. If we need account access for a job, we'll agree a safer way to do it.

5. Who else sees it

The message you type has to travel through the companies that carry it:

• FormSubmit, which turns the contact form into an email to us.
• Our email provider, which stores that email.
• WhatsApp, if that is how you contacted us.
• Our website host, which serves the pages, keeps the logs and counts the anonymous page views.

Each of them has its own privacy policy, and some of them store data outside Malaysia. We share your information with no one else, unless the law requires it.

6. Your data while we work for you

We set things up inside accounts you own. Your data stays in those accounts. It does not move to our servers, because we don't run any. While a job is running we may see business information in your accounts. We look only at what the agreed task needs, we don't copy it out, and our access ends when the job ends. Once we hand over, the setup runs without us.

The AI tools we set up are run by other companies, and anything you put into them is handled under their terms, not ours. We'll tell you which tool we're proposing before we set it up.

7. How long we keep things

Enquiries that don't become work: up to 12 months, then deleted. Client emails and records: as long as the working relationship lasts, plus 7 years for tax and accounting, then deleted.

8. Keeping it safe

The site is served over HTTPS. Our accounts use strong passwords and two-factor login. We keep no customer database, which is the simplest protection there is. No method is perfectly secure, and we can't promise otherwise.

9. Your rights

Under the Personal Data Protection Act 2010 you can ask us to:

• Show you what personal information we hold about you.
• Correct anything that is wrong.
• Delete it, where we don't have to keep it.
• Stop using it to contact you.

Message us and we'll deal with it within 21 days. There is no charge.

10. Children

This site is for businesses. We don't aim it at children and we don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

11. Changes

If we change this policy, the date at the top changes with it. If a change matters to work we are doing for you, we'll tell you directly.
